This story has been updated. A stretch of Route 9W near Nyack Hospital has reopened after a crash caused its closure. The crash occurred just before 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27 between Sickles Avenue and 5th Avenue. The roadway reopened around 10:15 a.m.

There will be temporary delays on I-84 and Route 17 in the area this week as contracting crews continue construction work in the area. The New York State Department of Transportation announced that from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, there will be temporary traffic stoppages in both directions on both I-84 and Route 17 in Wallkill. Route 202 reopened at 1:45 p.m. between Old Route 202 and Route 306 after being closed due to a car fire. Traffic Alert: I-84 Crash Causes Stop-Go Delays, Route 32 Reopens After Downed Pole
This story has been updated. Motorists had to endure two major slowdowns on I-84 and Route 32 in Orange County. The rollover crash occurred around 9:32 a.m. Monday on I-84 eastbound near Ext 8B in Newburgh. State police traffic is getting by, but traffic is backed-up and slowdowns are occurring. Route 32 was closed in Cornwall from Route 107/Quaker Avenue. and Route 65/Angola Road, due to a downed utility pole and wires from late in the morning until just before 6 p.m.

I-84 Lanes Reopen After Overturned Tractor-Trailer Crash
This story has been updated. Both lanes on a stretch of I-84 have reopened after a crash involving an overturned tractor-trailer. The incident in Putnam County, on the eastbound side at I-684 (Exit 20), caused half-hour long delays with slow traffic moving along on the right shoulder around the crash scene while the lanes were closed on Friday, Feb. 22. Route 59 Reopens After Truck Hits Overpass
This story has been updated. A stretch of Route 59 has reopened after it was shut down in both directions following a tractor-trailer hit an overpass in Rockland County. The incident occurred around noon on Wednesday, Feb. 6 between Route 17 and 4th Street in Hillburn. No injuries were reported. Crash Causes Gridlock On Tappan Zee Bridge During Evening Commute
This story has been updated. There was gridlock on the northbound (Rockland-bound) Tappan Zee Bridge following a crash that took out two lanes before being cleared. The crash occurred near the Rockland/Westchester line of the span, with stop-and-go delays stretching back miles on I-87 and I-287 back to White Plains just before 5 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24. Starting Date Set For Harriman Toll Plaza Demolition
Demolition of the Harriman toll plaza on the New York State Thruway has a starting date, following the Thruway Authority’s transition to cashless tolls in the Hudson Valley. Beginning on Monday, Jan. 14, a Westchester contracting company will begin demolition in Harriman, as the state continues a $13.9 million plan to convert plazas in the region to cashless, all-electronic tolls.
