Route 17 Reopens After 12-Hour Closure

A stretch of Route 17 near the Rockland-Orange County border reopened late Saturday afternoon following a 12-hour long closure due to a crash involving a downed utility pole.

The closure, in both directions, occurred at Route 17A in Tuxedo just before dawn.
