Several Sites In Orange County Will Remeber 9/11 Attacks

ORANGE COUNTY, N.Y. –Monday marks the 16th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. If you're looking to pay your respects, here are some places you can go:

Hamptonburgh

County Executive Steven Neuhaus and other local officials will be on hand for a remembrance ceremony at the Orange County Arboretum in Thomas Bull Memorial Park. 

The event begins at 6 p.m.

Deerpark

A memorial service will be held at 8:30 a.m. along with a moment of silence at 8:46 a.m. in front of Town Hall. 

Chester

A ceremony will be held at the Remembrance site at 6:30 p.m.

Newburgh

A candlelight vigil will be held at Mout Saint Mary College starting at 7 p.m. 

Wallkill

A ceremony will be held in Memorial park at 6 p.m. 

Warwick

A ceremony will be held near the 9/11 memorial in Veterans Memorial Park starting at 6 p.m.
