A woman was rushed to Westchester Medical Center after a serious two-vehicle crash that shut down Route 304 in New City through the early evening Monday.

The crash occurred just before 3 p.m. at the intersection of Cosmos Lane, leading to the closure of Route 304  in both directions from Squadron Boulevard to Cosmos Lane.
