The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert this week to Orange residents regarding the residency of 47-year-old Andre Ingram, who has moved from out of state to a residence on Chrystie Lane in Walden.
The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Ingram as a Level 2 threat, which means he is at "moderate risk of a repeat offense."
According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Ingram committed his crime and was arrested in 2009 by the Pennsylvania State Police. He was convicted of institutional sexual assault the following year and sentenced to a term of three years probation and between one and three years in state prison. He is now under the jurisdiction of the Walden Village Police Department.
