Washingtonville Steals The Spotlight In New York Times Real Estate Section

WASHINGTONVILLE, N.Y. – The growing hamlet of Washingtonville caught the attention of the New York Times real estate section recently. 

The New York Times praised Washingtonville for holding on to its history. Like the Moffat Library, which is a registered historic landmark.

Times Reporter Julie Lasky said folks from the city are flocking to the area because of its newer housing developments, and wide-open spaces. 

The article goes on to praise the Village for its history – George Washington is said to have watered his horse here – as well as its easy commute to Manhattan.
